2021 LOCALIZE LENTICULAR

STAR GATEWAY

The T-Mobile Legacy store, located in Plano, Texas needed an update to its lenticular screen. Specifically, the company expressed a desire to incorporate local geographical elements as well as Texas pride onto the lenticular wall experience. I decided to make the project as beautiful as possible with the use of modern LED technology.

The goal was to “open up a gateway to the lenticular content in a big way that not only says “Howdy!” but also ties directly to selfie moments that can be enjoyed in front of the prominent Texas Lone Star display.”

I was inspired by GMUNK’s LED installation, Amsterdam 2013 PYRADICAL, which had animation driven by graphic sequencing. I concluded that adapting a similar animation for the Texas Lone Star would be an eye-catching visual solution.
